To collect paper tickets, you will need your booking reference and a physical credit or debit card.
What card to use
You can use any physical credit or debit card to collect your tickets. It doesn’t need to be the same card you paid with.
Using the ticket machines
You can collect your tickets from any station with a ticket machine. It doesn’t need to be the same station your journey starts at.
The main steps for using the machines, which may differ slightly between different stations, are:
- Tap “Collect tickets” on the machine.
- Insert your card. The machine will not charge you.
- Enter your booking reference number.
- Wait for the tickets to be printed and then collect them.
The machine may also print out a receipt in addition to your tickets, which will look quite similar but isn’t actually a ticket.
What to do if there’s a problem
If you encounter any problems, such as a broken ticket machine, or you find yourself at the station without the necessary physical card, we recommend going to the ticket office or finding a member of station staff and explaining the situation to them.
Depending on the exact situation, it may not be possible for them to print the tickets, but they will assist you in any way they can.
