Different parts of the app get their information from different sources.
Live trains

The ‘Live trains’ tab gets its information from the official National Rail Enquiries “Darwin” data feeds, which in turn collects data from all the train operating companies and Network Rail.
Planner without ticket options

When not showing ticket choices, the Planner tab gets its information from the National Rail Enquiries Online Journey Planner data feeds.
Planner with ticket options

When it is showing ticket choices, the Planner tab gets its information from Railboard’s ticketing partner, Raileasy. Raileasy is an industry leader in split ticketing and journey planning.
For real-time updates, both the Online Journey Planner data feeds and Raileasy also use the National Rail Enquiries “Darwin” data feeds (mentioned above) as one of their sources.
